Event Information

Title: Equipping the Global Security Operations Center of the Future

Description:

It’s no surprise that today’s security command centers come in all shapes and sizes. Each organization has its own specific use case and there’s certainly no “one-size-fits-all” solution when it comes to building out a GSOC.

As technology advances and environments change, such as AI and the rise in virtualized work, the traditional GSOC has been turned on its head. Now organizations are welcoming people back to their facilities, which means it’s time to take a step back and reimagine the GSOC.

In this session, panelists will discuss the shortcomings of today’s GSOCs—and ways to address these challenges through AI-driven initiatives and better operational maturity. They will also discuss how cybersecurity is permeating the physical security world, effective GSOC design and implementation, recruiting and retaining talent, and how to prepare your organization for what’s next.

Learning Objective #1: Identify the challenges GSOCs face in retaining talent, upgrading technology, and designing a streamlined space that takes operator comfort into account.

Learning Objective #2: Discuss how operational maturity can be achieved through the implementation of intelligence-driven technology, fusion, and what’s coming down the pipeline.
