Event Information

Title: Solutions for the Physical and Digital Security Arms Race

Description:

Security has always been an uphill battle. Physical and digital vulnerabilities are discovered more quickly than old ones can be fixed. Whether, for example, manipulating a padlock or bypassing cryptographic protections, the criminals and hackers are continually finding new ways to defeat security measures. While the latest security technology promises to provide improved protection, there are many other factors which often nullify the advantages, so what is a security practitioner to do? How do we approach security in a prudent and yet effective manner?

This session’s speakers begin by defining the issues and laying the groundwork to explore practical solutions. They will engage in an open discussion with the audience to share experiences and challenges.

Learning Objective #1: Learn about the tools and tactics attackers use to defeat security measures.

Learning Objective #2: Understand the importance of live testing and evaluation.

Learning Objective #3: Participate in a discussion of real-world issues and experiences.

Type: All Access Education
